The event will provide opportunities for kids and their parents to participate in a number of hands-on activities focusing on hunting, fishing, outdoor safety and recreation. Although designed for kids, everyone will find something fun and educational.
Activities planned include traditional archery, firearm safety and handling, introduction to shotguns, boating safety, wildlife identification, nature crafts and more.

These programs are funded by the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act (Pittman-Robertson) and the Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act (Wallop-Breaux).
