Youth Pheasant Hunts

Cost: Free

These youth hunts are only possible w/cooperation of many sports groups, volunteers and conservation groups. Youth 17 and younger will have the opportunity to hunt and take rooster pheasant, quail, and doves according to the statewide bag limits unless otherwise indicated under specific area regulations. Each youth hunter must be accompanied by and adult 21 years or older and the youth must have in possession proof of hunter safety.

These programs are funded by the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act (Pittman-Robertson) and the Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act (Wallop-Breaux).
