Saunders Lake

Getting There: Located 7 miles north of the city of North Bend, directly off Hwy. 101.

Fisheries: Saunders Lake provides fishing opportunities year around. It is a relatively deep coastal lake, and contains a population of stocked legal- and trophy-sized rainbow trout. It also has a less utilized warmwater fishery of largemouth bass, yellow perch and bluegill.

Facilities: Restrooms are available at the county park and boat ramp. Picnic facilities and a grassy play area are available for families. This is a large lake, with most of it is accessible by boat only. Although, it is right off the highway, little traffic noise can be heard due to the surrounding trees.
