Benson Lake

Getting There:  The lake is in Benson State Recreation Area on the south side of I-84 just west of Multnomah Falls.
Fisheries:  Populations of brown bullhead, white crappie, pumpkinseed sunfish and largemouth bass. Benson Lake is stocked from April through June with legal- and trophy-sized rainbow trout.

Fees: Yes, day use fee.

Additional Activities: Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, other recreational activities abound including hike, biking and sightseeing.  Other nearby state parks: Rooster Rock State Park, Ainsworth State Park.
