Dixie Meadows Access Area

Dixie Meadow Ranch is approximately 10 miles southeast of Prineville. Big Game hunting is available September through December (Pronghorn hunting available for the first 5 days in August) on 7,000 acres of private land in the Lawson Creek drainage in the Ochoco WMU (#37) on a limited basis to those hunters with a valid controlled hunt tag for pronghorn, deer, elk or a general season cougar tag.  This property also provides additional access to 120 acres of land-locked BLM lands.
