SALEM,
Ore.-The Oregon
Department of
Fish and Wildlife
welcomes four
highly regarded
fishermen to the
newly formed Commercial
Crab Pot Buoy
Tag Replacement
Advisory Board.
The
board was formed
to advise the
ODFW director
regarding commercial
crab pot buoy
tag replacement
requests as a
result of catastrophic
loss. Although
the board currently
consists of four
members, the
ODFW director
can appoint up
to five.
The
board members,
who serve at
the will of the
ODFW director,
include:

of Warrenton

Paul Heikilla
of Coquille
-
Tom McAdams of
Newport
-
Frank Tarabochia
of Astoria
The
first board meeting
is scheduled
for Wednesday
at 8:30 a.m.,
by teleconference
from the ODFW
Marine Resources
Program in Newport.
