SALEM, Ore. —ODFW’s Access and Habitat Board will meet on July 20 and 21 at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife headquarters, 3406 Cherry Ave., NE, Salem. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
The meeting on Monday, July 20 will be held in the Grouse Room on the third floor and begins at 1:00 p.m. The Tuesday, July 21 meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. in the Commission Room.
The agenda includes a discussion of the program budget, an update on recent legislation affecting the program, the appointment of a representative to the A&H Deschutes/Klamath Advisory Council, a review of projects requesting funding, the selection of sports groups to sponsor A&H auction tags, and other program business.
An opportunity for public comment will be provided at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. A teleconference line is also available for members of the public who wish to participate in the meetings, but who cannot attend in person. The A&H Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The program is funded by a $2 surcharge on hunting licenses.
