ODFW Outdoors

ODFW’s Outdoor Skills Education Program offers a variety of hands-on workshops throughout the state that teach Oregonians how to fish, hunt, view wildlife and enjoy outdoor related recreational activities. You’ll learn what the activity is all about, what equipment is required and how to use it safely. You will then be given an opportunity to get out in the field and put your new skills to the test. We provide all the necessary equipment and the hands on instruction are provided by ODFW’s experienced and friendly staff and volunteer instructors. Workshops are designed for women, adults, and families.

Jeff Johnson Scholarship Fund

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Outdoor Skills Education Program is happy to announce the Jeff Johnson Scholarship Fund. Jeff Johnson was a dedicated instructor for our program and committed a great deal of his time passing his knowledge on to others. In this spirit of giving, the Jeff Johnson Scholarship Fund continues to give when Jeff cannot.
