Best time to visit: Mid-June - September.

Fish raised: Spring chinook salmon and summer steelhead.

What to see and do

At the hatchery: Viewing ponds hold young fish. Visitors can view adult chinook salmon during summer months.

Nearby: Salmon and steelhead fishing is available in the Middle Fork Willamette River below Dexter Dam.

Directions

Dexter Pond is located 1.5 miles west of Lowell on the north side of the Middle Fork Willamette River, just below Dexter Dam.
