Hunters: Return black-tailed deer teeth

Removing and returning a tooth is easy and in no way harms the taxidermy mount. Postage-paid envelops are available at license sales agents or ODFW offices, or return tooth to ODFW Wildlife Population Lab, 7118 NE Vandenberg Ave, Adair Village, OR 97330-9957

ODFW staff uses the teeth to determine the age of the animals, which is critical in population modeling and efforts to get better population estimates for Oregon’s black-tail deer populations.
