Wildlife Management Area Plans

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking public comments on a proposed management plan that will guide activities on the Sauvie Island Wildlife Area over the next 10 years. Four public meetings will be held to review the plan before it is submitted to the Fish and Wildlife Commission on Dec. 11, 2009.

The meeting schedule is as follows: Sauvie Island School, 14445 NW Charlton Road, June 20, Aug. 25, Sept. 22, 2009, 7-9 p.m.; Clackamas, Monarch Hotel, 12566 SE 93rd Ave., July 30, 7-9 p.m.
