The Oregon Wildlife Conservation iNaturalist Project was developed to collect wildlife observation data from community scientists on amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles across Oregon. This tool allows you to share your wildlife observations directly with biologists. Even if you can’t identify what species you are looking at, odds are that someone in the iNaturalist community can. Your participation will help enhance our understanding of wildlife in our state, and improve wildlife conservation efforts throughout Oregon.
In addition to great photos and sounds of Oregon’s wildlife, conservation biologists are also working to publish journal entries on iNaturalist to inform the public about various projects related to the Oregon Conservation Strategy.
