Each module contains complete lesson plans with accompanying instructor overheads, student worksheets and vocabulary builders, plus additional readings. Lesson plans are based upon the International Hunter Education Association's core objectives presented in the IHEA Standards (pdf). Instructors should to remove the staples and cut this manual up the spine in order to organize the modules according to their presentation needs. If you do not have a copy of this book, contact your area coordinator.
INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTRUCTORS WHO HAVE COMPLETED PHASE I TRAINING
This manual is your reference book on the Hunter Education Program. There have been a number of changes since the orignal manual was issued in 1987, and you are urged to study this new manual with particular reference to the Policies and Procedures.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW INSTRUCTORS
Completion of this manual is Phase I training of your new instructor training. Study the complete manual online or by reading through instructor manual in the orange binder, chapter by chapter. If you have not received the orange binder, your application is still in process. You will receive the instructor binder when the application process is complete. The Phase I quizzes are provided at the end of the hard copy manual. When you have finished filling out the quizzes, send the completed quizzes with your name to ODFW - Hunter Education, 3406 Cherry Ave NE, Salem, OR 97303.
