SALEM, Ore.–The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission has scheduled a conference call Thursday at 1 p.m. to discuss negotiation efforts by resource managers in Oregon and Washington regarding the 2008 Columbia River spring chinook management objectives.
The public may listen to the discussion via speakerphone in the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission Room at 3406 Cherry Ave., N.E., Salem.
No public comments will be taken during the conference call.
On Friday, fishery managers from Oregon and Washington will meet under the Columbia River Compact to finalize pre-season plans for the 2008 Columbia River spring chinook fishery.
