Access and Habitat Board to meet in Salem

SALEM, Ore. —ODFW’s Access and Habitat Board will meet on Tuesday, July 20 at 8 a.m. in the Commission Room, ODFW Headquarters, 3406 Cherry Ave., NE, Salem

The meeting’s agenda includes a discussion of the program budget, hunting access easements, law enforcement activities on A&H project properties, allocation of 2011 auction tags, review of projects requesting funding, and other program business

A field trip to view local projects funded by the A&H Program is scheduled for Monday, July 19. The tour will leave at 1:00 p.m. from ODFW Headquarters. Members of the public may accompany the group using their own transportation.

The A&H Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The A&H Program is funded by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses, big game auction and raffle tag sales, and from the Green Forage program
