Regulations update

Two items were adopted by the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission (OFWC) for the 2018 pink shrimp season

  1. A Fishery Management Plan
  2. Required use of lighting devices on the footrope of shrimp trawls

These four LEDs are the currently approved (2024) footrope lighting devices. ODFW is willing and interested to work with vessel operators or manufacturers on adding more footrope lighting devices to this list.
