The Columbia River Enhancement Fund was established in 2013 by the Oregon State Legislature via Senate Bill 830 in order to help implement the 2012 lower Columbia River management and reform actions. Since 2013, the Enhancement Fund is has received revenue from two sources -- general revenue funds appropriated by the Legislature, and a $9.75 annual Columbia River Basin Endorsement, paid by all anglers fishing for salmon, steelhead and sturgeon within the Columbia River Basin.
The following charts outline the spending details for both revenue sources.
