Conservation Values Protected: This property hosts the following Oregon conservation strategy species: acorn woodpecker, chipping sparrow, yellow-breasted chat, western bluebird, slender-billed nuthatch, Western gray squirrel, shaggy horkelia, and Hitchcock's blue-eyed grass. There are also several rocky areas that provide habitat for western rattlesnake. The site protects conservation values such as significant tract of forest with areas dominated by Oregon white oak, California black oak, Willamette valley ponderosa pine, and upland prairie habitat, all of which provide refuge and habitat for terrestrial species such as elk, deer, and other resident and migrating birds.
