Specific priority conservation features on the property include an Oregon ash-tufted hairgrass community, and unique hydrology that supports the forested wetlands and wet prairie habitats. A population of Bradshaw's desert parsley plants, which are listed as an endangered species under the federal ESA, also thrive on this property. Other Oregon conservation strategy species known to occur on the property include common nighthawks, western meadowlarks, and northern red-legged frogs.
