Conservation Values Protected: This property protects important conservation values such as floodplain, side channel, riparian, wetland, upland and prairie habitats that protect anadromous fish and their habitats. Protecting these habitats protects instream fish and amphibian habitat; upland wildlife; historical and cultural resources; water quantity and quality, and other important watershed values including temperature, sediment load, and flow levels.
Species such as federally listed, threatened wild Willamette Basin Chinook salmon and steelhead, and bull trout benefit from these conservation values. Other at-risk native avian, aquatic, amphibian, reptile, plant and mammal species, including, but not limited to, bald eagle, beaver, black-tailed deer, California quail, common merganser, greater scaup, mink, osprey, pileated woodpecker, red fox, river otter, western gray squirrel, wood duck, and yellow warbler.
