District Boundaries
Fish biologists in the Mid Columbia District manage all water bodies from the lower Deschutes River west to the crest of the Cascade Mountains. The northern boundary of the Mid Columbia District is the Columbia River. Major water ways include the lower Deschutes River basin from river mile 0 to 100, Fifteen Mile Creek, and the Hood River.
Wildlife biologists in the Mid Columbia District manage all wildlife and their habitat within Hood River County, Wasco County, and Sherman County. This area boasts incredibly diverse wildlife habitat from the slopes of Mt. Hood to the semi-arid canyons of the Deschutes and John Day Rivers.
