Boater Survey

During the 2007-2009 summers, the Marine Board, ODFW and Umpqua National Forest contacted boat users at boat ramps around Diamond Lake. Boaters were asked questions such as when and where they had last boated, where they were from, and when they last cleaned their boat. Voluntary boat inspections for invasive species took place during or after the interviews.  Starting in 2010, statewide ODFW crews surveyed multiple lakes (including Diamond Lake) throughout western Oregon conducting education and boat inspections for invasive species.
