Columbia River Investigations (CRI)

The Columbia River Investigations Program is the research, monitoring and evaluation component of the OSCRP. The CRI Program currently conducts a number of projects involving white sturgeon population assessments, predaion on juvenile salmonids, salmon spawning in the Columbia River below dams, systemwide monitoring of salmonid populations in the Columbia River Basin, and harvest and escapement of coastal Chinook salmon. Projects are designed to provide important information to fishery managers.

CRI's Mission: To provide, through field investigations and biometric analysis, the factual, biological knowledge necessary for managers to make informed decisions relating to the fish resources of the Columbia River Basin and Oregon in general.
