Dr. Marc A. Johnson
Acting Director

Dr. Marc Johnson serves as the acting Director at OHRC.  For nearly two decades he has conducted research to build understanding of genetic relationships among hatchery and wild salmon, investigate approaches to reduce risk from hatchery operations and improve salmon management. More about Dr. Johnson's research

   

Jen Krajcik
Facilities Manager

Jen Krajcik has both a bachelor's and a master's degree in biology with a focus on marine biology and fisheries from Florida Institute of Technology. Jen has worked for ODFW for nearly ten years, including time at Bonneville, Sandy, and Roaring River fish hatcheries, raising a variety of salmon and trout species.

   

Craig Lawson
Senior Technician

Craig Lawson has an extensive background in aquatic organism care and culture.  His education background is in wildlife biology with an emphasis on marine ecosystems.  He started work maintaining and constructing large scale aquarium systems, with added experience in animal husbandry and water quality.  He has since then specialized in research aquaculture of a variety of species, and applies this experience through his role at the OHRC.

   

Brian Willett
Technician, Host Coordinator

Brian Willett was born a Minnesotan, but earned his bachelor's degree in Zoology from North Dakota State University in 2015. He has always been fascinated with the life history of Pacific salmon and aquaculture, so he decided to move to Idaho in 2016, where he started his first fish hatchery job. Before joining ODFW and the OHRC, Brian worked at several fish hatcheries operated by Idaho Department of Fish and Game and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
