The E. E Wilson Wildlife area is located 10 miles north of Corvallis on Hwy 99W in the central portion of the Willamette Valley of Western Oregon. It encompasses 1,683 acres of brush-grassland habitat, mature oak stands and several restored wetlands. It has a rich local history, serving as the home of the Kalapuya Indians, as the site of the small town of Wells, and later as the site of Camp Adair Army training center.
The E. E. Wilson Wildlife Area was established in 1950 as an upland game bird propagation facility where ring-necked pheasants, red-legged partridge and Sichuan pheasants were raised until 1997. This area now provides public recreation for hunting, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, dog training, berry picking, and sightseeing. The public viewing area draws about 15,000 visitors a year. There are several seasonal ponds and one permanent one that provides fishing.

Depending on skills, there could be some farming projects, and equipment operation. Site 3 will include some of the above, but will also assist with other jobs and projects around the region.
Hookups: Water, 50 amp electric, sewer and concrete pad. Also available: restroom, showers, washer and dryer, ice, dump station, TV and radio reception. Site 3 is located across the road from the main facilities on a former mobile home site, which has a large lawn and shade and fruit trees.
