Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is developing its budget proposal for the 2025-27 biennium through a public process. Two public engagement meetings will be held, April 4th and May 16th to obtain questions and comments on the draft 2025-27 Agency Request Budget (ARB). At these meetings an overview of programs and 2025-27 budget materials will be provided by staff followed by a question-and-answer session. Folks can attend in person at or watch via YouTube channel listed below.
Public comments on the budget can be submitted by email to ODFW.Commission@odfw.oregon.gov or by mail to ODFW Director's Office, 4034 Fairview Industrial Dr. SE, Salem, OR 97302-1142. Comments received by May 27th, 2023, will be included with the draft 2025-27 Agency Request Budget exhibit for the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting on June 14, 2024. Additionally, written public testimony or verbal testimony can be provided to the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting at the meeting referenced above. Following Commission approval, a final ARB will be submitted to the Governor's Office during August 2024. The final ODFW 2025-27 budget will be set by the Legislature during the 2025 Legislative Session.
