Access and Habitat Board to meet in Salem July 23-24

SALEM, Ore. —ODFW’s Access and Habitat Board will meet on Monday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 24 in the Commission Room, ODFW Headquarters, 3406 Cherry Ave. NE, Salem. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings.
The Monday meeting begins at 1:00 pm and includes a discussion by board members of big game tag auction event protocols and developing A&H Program priorities.
The Tuesday meeting starts at 8:00 am. The agenda includes a budget report, selection of sponsoring organizations for the 2013 A&H big game auctions, appointment of a new member to the A&H Northeast Regional Advisory Council, project application reviews and other program business. An opportunity for public comment will be provided at 10:00 a.m.

The A&H Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The A&H Program is funded primarily by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses and big game auction and raffle tag sales.
