SALEM, Ore. - Oregon's Fish Passage Task Force will meet via teleconference Wednesday, August 27, 2014 to consider the Oregon Department of Transportation Culvert Repair Fish Passage Programmatic Agreement.
The meeting begins at 1 p.m. and will be held in the Commission Room at the ODFW headquarters at 4034 Fairview Industrial Drive in Salem. The meeting is open to the public and opportunity for public testimony will be provided during the meeting. If unable to attend the meeting, written testimony can be submitted to Greg Apke, ODFW Fish Passage Program Coordinator, at greg.d.apke@state.or.us. The Draft Agreement (pdf) is available for review on the ODFW website.
The Fish Passage Task Force is comprised of nine members who advise ODFW and the Commission on fish passage policies and issues. Task Force members represent water users, fisheries and conservation interests, and the general public.
The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will consider the final Agreement at the Oct. 10th meeting in Medford.
