SALEM, Ore. - Oregon's Fish Passage Task Force will meet Friday, July 24, 2015 in the Conference Room at the Holiday Inn Express at 20651 Grandview Dr., Bend.
The meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public. The agenda on Friday, July 24 includes Task Force member updates, updates on the fish passage mitigation banking initiative, the ODOT culvert repair mitigation fund project solicitation, fish passage exemption requests and other Task Force business. The Task Force will tour several fish passage projects on Saturday, July 25.
The nine-member Fish Passage Task Force meets quarterly to advise ODFW on fish passage policies and issues. Task Force members represent water users, fisheries and conservation interests, and the general public.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is still seeking two members to represent the public-at-large on the state’s Fish Passage Task Force. Individuals interested in serving on the ODFW Fish Passage Task Force can request additional information or get an application from Greg Apke, ODFW Fish Passage Program Coordinator, at (503) 947-6228 or greg.d.apke@state.or.us. Additional information and the application is available on the ODFW Fish Passage Program website. Applications will be accepted through July 31, 2015.
