SALEM, Ore.—The Access and Habitat Board meets Oct. 19-20 in Halfway, Ore.
On Oct. 19, the board will take a field tour of several access areas funded by the A and H program, including Forsea Ranch, Iron Mountain, Troy Ranches, MR King Ranches, and Widman. They will also look at field work supporting the Mule Deer Initiative in Keating Unit. To join the tour, meet at the Pine Valley Lodge, 163 N Main Street in Halfway no later than 8 a.m. on Oct. 19. Members of the public who join the tour must provide their own transportation and lunch.
The board meeting begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 20 at the Lions Club, 235 Lion Street in Halfway. An opportunity for public comment at the meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Members of the public may attend the meeting or call in and listen (1-877-336-1831, passcode 804246).
