ODFW to host open house for possible Wilson River boat ramp

Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016

TILLAMOOK, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will host an open house to discuss a potential boat ramp project on the lower Wilson River.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, March 2 from 6-8 p.m. at ODFW’s office in Tillamook, located at 4907 Third St.

ODFW is seeking public input on a possible property acquisition and development of a new boat launch and parking on the Wilson River, just downstream of the current Sollie Smith boat ramp along Wilson River Loop.

The open house format is aimed at providing information and identifying any issues of concern.

For more information, contact Robert Bradley, acting district fish biologist, 503-842-2741 x253 or Robert.Bradley@state.or.us.
