SALEM, Ore.—ODFW’s Access and Habitat program will host an emergency board meeting by phone on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. to discuss a request to fund emergency seeding of areas affected by the Ana Fire.

Seeding after fire can help stop the spread of invasive weeds, restore habitat and provide forage for wildlife. The area that would be seeded provides winter range for mule deer in the Silver Lake Unit.
