Alsea, Ore. — The Oregon Hatchery Research Center board will meet online and by teleconference on June 8, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
The agenda is posted on the OHRC website. The meeting is open for public observation, however, given that it is virtual and shortened, public comments will not be taken during the meeting. Instead, public comments will be taken from June 8 to June 15 by emailing kerrie.j.tarkinton@odfw.oregon.gov.
The agenda includes an update on the search for an OHRC Director, a presentation on vitamin deficiencies in hatchery salmon by Dr. Aimee Reed, an update on the performance of hatchboxes at OHRC by Meghan Howell and an overview of recent research evaluations by Dr. Marc Johnson.

The OHRC is a cooperative research project between the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Oregon State University, and the Board advises the OHRC Director on activities and functions related to the operation and maintenance of the OHRC.
