SALEM, Ore.—Two different Work Groups looking at regulations for beaver management and trapping are meeting online next week.
The Beaver Management Group meets Monday, Sept. 13 from 2-4 p.m. See the meeting agenda and watch a livestream of the meeting at https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/working_group/beaver_management.asp
The Trap Check Work Group meets Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 2-4 p.m. See the meeting agenda and watch a livestream of the meeting at https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/working_group/trap_check.asp
The Work Groups include ODFW staff and stakeholders. Meetings are being led by professional facilitators from Kearns and West.
The public is welcome to view the livestreamed meeting, though public comments are not taken. Meetings will be, recorded and available for future viewing at ODFW's YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/IEODFW
The Work Groups will be periodically reporting back to the Commission, who will ultimately consider any changes to Oregon's beaver management or trapping regulations.
