CORVALLIS, Ore. – The E.E. Wilson fishing pond parking lot will be closed for three weeks for improvements beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11. The parking lot will reopen after Jan. 4, 2025.
The parking lot is in poor condition and at times has not been able to accommodate the demand for parking. Additional parking spaces will be created and the improvements aim to provide a safer and more efficient parking experience for all who enjoy the E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area.
The fishing pond will be open during parking lot construction but is not currently being stocked with trout. Alternative parking options are available at the lot southeast of the fishing pond lot or by the archery range.
