CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting a 3D archery event at Denman Wildlife Area (Military Slough tract) May 17-18. The family friendly event is just $10 (cash only, pay at event) and free for youth 17 and younger.
The archery event has 40 3D animal targets on a two-mile course along maintained trails and gravel roads. Participants shoot up to two shots per target; distances vary from 10 to 60 yards with a focus on targets ranging from 10 to 20 yards. Archers can use either compound or recurve bows.
Staggered start times begin at 8 a.m. and the last archer is out at 1 p.m. For more information and to pre-register, click here.
