Highlights from the 2023 ODFW and Tribal Partnership Annual Report
- ODFW is collaborating with NPT to evaluate the distribution and relative abundance of Bull Trout, Brook Trout, and their hybrids in Bear Creek and the Lostine River.
- NPT, ODFW, and U.S. Forest Service conducted fish assemblage surveys from the headwaters of the Minam River to its confluence with the Wallowa River to document the distribution and relative abundance of fishes in this drainage.
- ODFW assisted NPT with eDNA surveys in tributaries to the Minam River to infer the presence of Bull Trout and Brook Trout.
- ODFW collaborated with NPT to conduct Bull Trout redd surveys in northeastern Oregon.
- Lookingglass Hatchery distributed 44 jack spring Chinook for tribal subsistence and ceremonial use.
