Temporary low flow angling closures lifted for Chetco, Winchuck, and Sixes Rivers
Adopted November 16, 2020: effective November 17, 2020 through November 30, 2020
This amended rule removes temporary low flow angling closures in the Winchuck, Chetco, and Sixes Rivers. Reduced wild chinook harvest and bag limits remain in effect.1

Commercial Dungeness Crab Season Opening Delay
Adopted November 19, 2020: effective November 20, 2020 through February 15, 2020
This amended rule delays the opening of the 2020-2021 commercial ocean Dungeness crab fishing season from December 1, 2020 until at least December 16, 2020 in accordance with the Tri-State Memorandum-Of Understanding and Preseason Testing Protocol. Additional Temporary Rules will be promulgated to open the fishery in accordance with that agreement.

Increase Adult Steelhead Bag Limit in Columbia River
Adopted December 3, 2020: effective December 3, 2020 through December 31, 2020
This amended rule allows retention of one hatchery steelhead in the Columbia River upstream of The Dalles Dam for the remainder of the year.

Coastal Wild Chinook Salmon Bag Limit Reduction, Area Closures, and Lifting of Low Flow Restrictions
Adopted December 8, 2020: effective December 8, 2020 through December 31, 2020
This amended rule modifies bag limits and other measures for harvest of wild salmon in specified Oregon coastal rivers and removes temporary low flow angling closures in the Winchuck, Chetco, and Sixes Rivers.2

Commercial Dungeness Crab Season Opening South of Cape Falcon
Adopted December 9, 2020: effective December 9, 2020 through February 15, 2020
This amended rule sets the opening date and related management measures for the 2020-2021 ocean commercial Dungeness crab fishery from Cape Falcon (45º 46' 00" N. Lat.) southward to the California border (42º 00' 00" N. Lat.) on December 16, 2020. The commercial Dungeness crab fishery will remain closed from Cape Falcon (45º 46' 00" N. Lat.) northward to the Washington border (46º 15' 00" N. Lat.).

The Commission will be asked to approve expenditures from the Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund for projects approved at the September 11 meeting of the Fish and Wildlife Commission. Expenditures all consist of restricted gifts received to expand the scale of the previously approved projects.

The Commission places great value on information received from the public, and wants to avoid arbitrary limits on the time or attention allocated to each witness. - Limit testimony to three (3) minutes, recognizing that substance, not length, determines the value of testimony or written information;
- Endorse rather than repeat testimony of other witnesses; and
- Groups or organizations wishing to testify should designate one spokesperson whenever possible.
