Set 2021 Columbia River Commercial Smelt Fisheries
Adopted January 28, 2021: effective January 28, 2021 through February 25, 2021.
This amended rule implements the 2021 Columbia River commercial smelt season for Zones 1 through 3 beginning January 28 through February 25, 2021. Modifications are consistent with action taken January 26 by the Departments of Fish & Wildlife for the States of Oregon and Washington at a meeting of the Columbia River.

Adopted January 29, 2021: effective February 1, 2021 through February 6, 2021.
This amended rule implements the 2021 winter treaty tribal commercial gillnet fishery season for The Dalles and John Day pools beginning February 1, 2021. Modifications are consistent with action taken January 26 by the Departments of Fish & Wildlife for the States of Oregon and Washington at a meeting of the Columbia River.

Commercial Dungeness Crab Season Opening North of Cape Falcon
Adopted February 8, 2021: effective February 8, 2021 through August 3, 2021.
This amended rule updates Oregon’s crab Harvest Area map to include all individual Washington crab Harvest Areas (also known as fish ticket areas) so that crab harvested from Washington and landed or shipped into Oregon can be traced by area through the market chain under Oregon’s crab traceability rules.

This amended rule sets the opening date and related management measures for the 2020-2021 ocean commercial Dungeness crab fishery from Cape Falcon (45º 46' 00" N. Lat.) northward to the Washington border (46º 15' 00" N. Lat.) on February 16, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

Return Correct Language After Incorrect Filing
Adopted February 10, 2021: effective February 10, 2021 through August 3, 2021.
This amended rule returns this rule to the correct language after a temporary rule was incorrectly filed on this rule instead of on the correct number (635-006-0201).

PUBLIC TESTIMONY REGISTRATION
If you wish to give verbal testimony on any Exhibit item scheduled on the February 12 agenda, you must register before 8:00AM Wednesday February 10, 2021; a minimum of 48 hour prior to the meeting.

You will be called to testify by the Commission Chair. The Commission places great value on information received from the public, and wants to avoid arbitrary limits on the time or attention allocated to each witness. Therefore, persons desiring to testify or otherwise present information to the Commission are encouraged to:
- Limit testimony to three (3) minutes, recognizing that substance, not length, determines the value of testimony or written information;
- Endorse rather than repeat testimony of other witnesses; and
- Groups or organizations wishing to testify should designate one spokesperson whenever possible.
