Adopted 2/24/2023: effective 3/1/2023 through 8/27/2023.
These amended rules adopt in-season actions previously adopted by the federal government for the 2023-2024 Pacific Coast recreational groundfish fishery which increase the bag limit for the longleader gear recreational fishery from 10 to 15 fish.

This amended rule allows the sales of white sturgeon landed during setline fisheries in Bonneville Pool (February 27 – March 1) and The Dalles Pool (March 6–9).

This amended rule sets the Columbia River, and modifies the Select Area, recreational salmon fisheries from March 1 through June 15.

Close Angling in Willamina Creek 200 feet below the Lower Falls
Adopted 3/8/2023: effective 3/9/2023 through 8/15/2023.
This amended rule prohibits all angling in Willamina Creek approximately 200 feet below the lower falls in response to illegal targeting of winter steelhead.

Public Comment and Public Hearing Testimony: Regular Commission meetings allow for in-person, virtual, or written public comment. When registering to testify please provide first and last name, topic, a valid email address, and phone number.
Comment and testimony are limited to three minutes. All parties interested in providing public comment or testifying as part of a public hearing shall participate using one of the following methods:
- In-Person Comment: Parties interested in providing in-person verbal public comment shall fill out a "Witness Registration" form available at the meeting.
- Video or Audio Conference Call: If you wish to give virtual testimony on Exhibits scheduled on the Friday, March 17 agenda, YOU MUST REGISTER (Registration) BEFORE 8:00 AM WEDNESDAY March 15, 2023; a minimum of 48 hour prior to the meeting.
