   Extend Non-Treaty Columbia River Mainstem Commercial Smelt Fishery
   Adopted 3/16/2024: effective 3/18/2024 through 5/31/2024.
   This amended rule will implement six additional periods for the 2024 non-Treaty commercial smelt fishery in Zones 1-3 of the lower Columbia River between March 18 and 28.

   Expand fishing area for one period in Youngs Bay Select Area commercial fishery
   Adopted 3/21/2024: effective 3/21/2024 through 7/31/2024.
   This amended rule will expand the open fishing area for one period in the Youngs Bay Select Area commercial fishing site. The expanded area will accommodate more fishers and increase catches of salmon.
   
   

The Commission will be asked to approve revisions to the Director’s recruitment plan.
